Arkansas' Museum of Discovery showcases both history and science in an interactive environment. Museum-style exhibits include such treasures as an Egyptian mummy coffin and masks from cultures around the world while interactive areas have features like touchscreen displays and hands-on science experiments. The museum offers many public programs geared toward kids, like the Big Electric Show and a live animal show where participants can pet a blue-tongued skink lizard. It's located in the River Market district near the Farmer's Market and Riverfest Ampitheater.
